T&T - Director - Engineering - Government Sector - SG

About This Role

Deloitte seeks a Director of Engineering in the Government Sector to lead public sector IT transformation, strategy development, and architecture within a Technology & Strategy & Transformation team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in developing technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Lead the development of IT sourcing models to support optimal cost and commercial proposition decisions.
• Support senior leadership teams in defining IT Operating Models, roles, processes, and controls.
• Conduct IT maturity assessments to evaluate current business alignment, strategy, architecture, and governance.
• Identify and set out architectural components to facilitate technology provision for business solutions.
• Shape major IT Transformation programs and run Program Management Offices to deliver business initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in business and technology transformation with leading management consulting firms.
• Strong experience directly interfacing with senior business and IT stakeholders for public sector clients.
• Experience leading the business model design and implementation, including digital product strategy, information integration, cloud strategy.
• Budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.
• Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills with the ability to build consensus in ambiguous settings.
• Ability to travel locally or abroad for short-term and long-term project assignments.
