About This Role
Deloitte seeks a Manager/Senior Manager in Financial Services Tax with 6-8 years of experience, strong compliance and advisory skills, and expertise in tax due diligence, structuring, or M&A. The role involves supervising team members, leading tax workstreams, and advising clients on purpose-led growth.
Responsibilities
- Leading tax research and production of technical advice
- Supervising preparation of tax computations/filings
- Leading tax workstreams vis-à-vis M&A transactions (due diligence, structuring, modelling)
- Managing and training more junior team members
- Preparation of proposals and presentations assisting with business development
Requirements
- At least 6-8 years of corporate tax experience
- Preferred international accounting/law firm background
- Experience in compliance and advisory roles
- Strong analytical skills and project management abilities
- Tax, finance, legal or accounting background with experience in financial services sub-sectors (Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Management)
- Experience with emerging Digital Assets and Web 3.0 spaces
- Ability to lead by example and provide equal opportunities for growth
