T&T Senior Consultant - Artificial Intelligence & Data (Data and Cloud Platform Engineer) - SG

About This Role

Deloitte seeks a Senior Consultant to architect and lead an enterprise-scale, cloud-native data platform on Google Cloud that integrates AI/ML capabilities, governance frameworks, and advanced analytics to solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a modern, scalable cloud data platform on Google Cloud.
• Develop robust pipelines for self-service analytics and Agentic AI use cases powered by Google Cloud.
• Implement enterprise data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks to ensure trusted data products.
• Lead technical direction and mentor a team of engineers on the platform architecture.
• Optimize operations using FinOps principles to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
• Integrate data platforms with Large Language Models (LLMs) for advanced machine learning and conversational BI.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a track record of technical leadership on complex data projects.
• Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or AI.
• Strong GCP experience with AWS and expertise in Python for data engineering.
• Experience designing multi-layered data architectures, Star Schema/3NF models, and metadata-driven ingestion pipelines.
• Proficiency in Google BigQuery ecosystem services (Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub) and Dataplex.
• Experience implementing data governance frameworks including automated lineage and granular access controls.
• Knowledge of modern data strategies like Data Mesh or 'Data as a Product' and hybrid BI environments.
