About This Role
Deloitte's Assistant Manager Tax Technology Consulting role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or IT with 5+ years of experience implementing ERP (SAP/Oracle) and tax bolt-on solutions like OneSource or Vertex within a team of specialists across South East Asia.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate business process definition, modeling, and feasibility analysis for ERP tax solutions.
- Deliver compliance and customs solutions including project management, change management, solution design, implementation, and end-user support.
- Guide a team to replicate required business processes and analytical reporting needs using ERP tools.
- Act as a strong brand ambassador for the firm, sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Challenge themselves to deliver on tasks while taking accountability for results and building cooperative relationships.
- Identify issues as well as promote potential opportunities for improvement in the TTC practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Management, or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years of experience in ERP project implementation (SAP/Oracle) or similar projects.
- Solid knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft ERP systems.
- Experience integrating tax bolt-on solutions (OneSource/Vertex) with the ERP system.
- Technical or functional lead experience on at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Experience with tax compliance tools, indirect tax engines, or pillar two solutions.
