About This Role
Deloitte's T&T Consultant - Artificial Intelligence & Data (Data Engineer) role seeks a qualified consultant with strong data engineering experience, including Python/R skills and cloud/Big Data tools like Spark/Hive, to lead IA solutions at SG.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the Artificial Intelligence & Data team in Southeast Asia.
- Create, sell, and deliver AI solutions including robotic process automation, chatbots, and intelligent character recognition.
- Design data structures for BI/DW reporting using SQL, Oracle, and other tools.
- Implement data integration pipelines using technologies like Kafka, MapReduce, or Storm.
- Apply emerging analytics models to predict business outcomes and inform decision-making.
- Lead the team by connecting industry requirements with BI/Analytics solutions.
Requirements
- Good honors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- 2+ years experience (Analyst) or 4+ years (Consultant) in a MNC/Big 4 role.
- Strong experience with Scala, Python, or R programming languages.
- Experience with non-relational data stores (Pivotal, Cloudera) and relational databases (SQL, Oracle DB).
- Experience building data ingestion/transformation pipelines using Spark, Hive, Pig, Kafka, or Storm.
- Experience with cloud Data Engineering tools and Agile software engineering methodologies.
