About This Role
Seeking a Research Associate to support the SFA-funded Urban Farming project, focusing on scaling up sustainable growing media and managing complex multi-party research logistics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scaling up production of growing media
- Support experimental work and field tests
- Maintain offsite research facility operations
- Plan, manage project scheduling and budget
- Coordinate stakeholders including the Singapore Food Agency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Agronomy, or Plants Science
- 4+ years experience (or 6+ years for Diploma holders)
- Strong interest in urban farming and sustainable agriculture
- Experience with project management software platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
- Ability to work with multiple competing priorities in the public sector
