Research Assistant (Science Communication)

About This Role

Support the Earth Observatory of Singapore in translating geohazard and environmental research into engaging public outreach. This role involves creating digital content to reach diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate social media and digital content on geohazards and environment.
• Research science communication strategies, including AI applications.
• Support the research group's science communication and outreach activities.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement on hazards, disaster response, and sea-level rise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Communications or related field.
• Background/interest in environmental science.
• Strong design and copywriting skills for digital media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Videography/photography skills using DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
