Research Associate (Material Science / Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering)

About This Role

Seeking a Research Associate to lead the development and testing of carbon-enhanced concrete materials, including cost-benefit analysis and large-scale application demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead new carbon materials enhanced concrete development
• Conduct testing of advanced concrete material developed
• Perform cost-benefit and LCA analysis on the materials
• Conduct research on carbon material enhanced concretes with various forms of carbon

Requirements

• Graduate with Master Degree from a reputable university in material science, civil engineering or related fields
• Strong journal publication record and/or IP generation experience
• Relevant experiment skills including nano/microstructural material tailoring and mechanical testing
• Familiarity with carbon material enhanced concrete/geopolymer materials
• Excellent paper/report writing skills
