About This Role
Seeking a Research Assistant to design and fabricate perovskite photovoltaic devices for solar energy harvesting at NTU, focusing on solution-based fabrication and vacuum processing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Participate in research projects to ensure deliverables are completed
- Produce high-quality reports and documents consolidating research findings
- Develop bespoke photocatalytic characterisation setups for product analysis
- Perform material characterization of photoelectrodes and electrocatalysts
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and liaison with suppliers
- Collaborate on renewable energy projects and mentor junior group members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- Proficiency in solution-based device fabrication and characterization (SEM, EDX, XRD, AFM, UV-vis, PL)
- Expertise in vacuum-based processing techniques (ALD, PVD, sputtering)
- Competency in data analysis and manuscript drafting
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
