About This Role
A three-year Research Fellow position for the NTU College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences offers early-career scholars to develop independent research portfolios while contributing to the College's cross-disciplinary clusters, including Digital Humanities and Global Asia studies.
Responsibilities
- Pursue research in their own disciplinary field while engaging with the College's cross-disciplinary research clusters.
- Contribute to teaching and administration in their host School, participating in cross-college initiatives.
- Maintain full independence in their own research while receiving academic guidance from a named faculty mentor.
- Support the development of future leaders in research and teaching within a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic environment.
- Engage with the College's thematic clusters such as Digital Humanities and Global Asia studies.
- Develop a strong, independent research portfolio while contributing to the College's intellectual life.
Requirements
- PhD degree in the areas of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.
- Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-disciplinary research clusters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant publication track records are an advantage.
