About This Role
A three-year Research Fellow position for a PhD holder in Humanities, Arts, or Social Sciences at NTU's College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences to engage in cross-disciplinary research and contribute to the institution's global hub initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Pursue research in their own disciplinary field while engaging with the College's cross-disciplinary research clusters.
- Contribute to teaching and administration in their host School, participating in cross-college initiatives.
- Maintain full independence in their own research while receiving academic guidance from a named faculty mentor.
- Support the development of future leaders in research and teaching within a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic environment.
- Engage with the College's thematic clusters such as Digital Humanities, Global Asia studies, Health, Culture and Society, Arts, Culture, and Sustainability.
- Develop a strong research portfolio while contributing to the NTU CoHASS's intellectual life and teaching.
Requirements
- PhD degree in the areas of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.
- Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-disciplinary research clusters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant publication track records are an advantage.
