About This Role
The Assistant Manager, Student Administration at NTU Singapore is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional with 3+ years of experience in educational institutions to oversee postgraduate student administration, including admissions, course registration, examinations, and policy documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support the full spectrum of postgraduate student administration, including admissions and course registration.
- Partner with academic leaders to review curricula and syllabi, and prepare academic proposals.
- Plan and oversee the end-to-end examination process, including timetable preparation and result processing.
- Prepare, update, and maintain student handbooks, FAQs, and policy documents for accuracy.
- Administer SkillsFuture claims and manage Centre for Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) initiatives.
- Serve as a main point of contact for Master of Science programme enquiries and support students, faculty, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an educational institution or higher education environment.
- Prior experience in student administration, postgraduate programme operations, or academic support is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office IT systems with data, databases, and online platforms.
- Strong system and data literacy to handle large volumes of information accurately.
- Meticulous, well-organised, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Able to multitask, manage competing deadlines, work under pressure with minimal supervision, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
