Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and characterize multifunctional cementitious materials for energy harvesting and storage applications.
- Conduct laboratory experiments involving cementitious composites, nanomaterials, and electrochemical measurements.
- Perform material characterization using advanced experimental techniques for data analysis.
- Assist in developing experimental methodologies, test protocols, and research workflows.
- Prepare high-quality journal manuscripts, technical reports, and conference presentations.
- Support project management activities including procurement, laboratory safety compliance, and documentation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrochemistry.
- 2+ years of experience in structural supercapacitors/battery-integrated concrete, piezoelectric/thermoelectric harvesting materials, conductive composites, or electrochemical characterization.
- Familiarity with ASTM/ISO standards for concrete testing and electrochemical cell design.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to draft reports, prepare manuscripts, and present findings.
- Interpersonal skills including independent work capability, meticulous attention to detail, and time management.
