About This Role
The NTU Research Associate role requires a Master's degree in Data Science, CS, or Statistics with strong Python and SQL skills to support healthcare research by coordinating data access, cleaning, and analyzing electronic health records and administrative datasets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site research coordination and data preparation in healthcare settings.
- Acquire, integrate, and manage multi-source datasets including electronic health records and survey data.
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and quality assurance for large-scale datasets.
- Develop and implement data analysis pipelines using Python and SQL to process structured and unstructured data.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and natural language processing.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or Biomedical Informatics.
- Relevant experience in data analytics or research support, preferably in healthcare or digital health environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with demonstrated ability to process large datasets.
- Experience working with unstructured data, including text, image, or audio processing techniques.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and machine learning workflows.
