Visiting Professor, Sustainable Construction

About This Role

NTU invites distinguished faculty to serve as a Visiting Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, focusing on sustainable construction and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures to undergraduates and MSc students
• Conduct public lectures, seminars for research students, and industry practitioners
• Engage in discussions on international conferences, publications, and research proposals for sustainable management and automation
• Supervise postgraduate education through mentorship and advanced-level teaching modules

Requirements

• Strong track record in sustainable construction and automation technologies with impactful publications, high citation metrics, and international recognition
• Demonstrate leadership in major research programmes fostering cross-institutional collaborations, particularly in strategic areas
• Show evidence of excellence in postgraduate education through supervision and mentorship development of advanced-level teaching
• Contribute meaningfully to the academic mission through joint research, student supervision, curriculum innovation, and international outreach
