About This Role
Seeking a PhD researcher to lead an independent project on biomolecular condensates regulating enzyme function using single-molecule spectroscopy.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead an independent project decoding how biomolecular condensates regulate enzyme function.
- Design and validate novel molecular probes or synthetic condensates using genetic engineering.
- Apply advanced single-molecule spectroscopy methods to measure molecular dynamics in vitro and in cell.
- Drive the publication of high-impact findings through scientific papers and conference presentations.
Requirements
- PhD in biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or cell biology.
- Strong track record of experimentation and quantitative thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate results clearly.
- Strong motivation, reliability, and ability to work independently or with a team.
- Experience with single-molecule spectroscopy techniques (e.g., smFRET, FCS).
- Expertise in protein/DNA biochemistry including labelling strategies and activity assays.
- Experience with live-cell imaging or microfluidics.
