About This Role
The NTU School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is seeking a Senior Research Fellow in Computational Electromagnetism to lead ab initio theory and EUV generation software, requiring PhD backgrounds in physics/math/engineering with strong C/Python skills.
Responsibilities
- Computationally solve electrodynamics problems in the EUV regime.
- Develop efficient software for modeling electromagnetic phenomena using C/Python.
- Formulate new theories derived from Maxwell's equations and QED for EUV generation.
- Lead papers in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
- Assist the Principal Investigator in writing grants and supervise students.
- Provide logistical support for laboratory operations.
Requirements
- PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
- Strong background in electrodynamics simulations techniques.
- Proficiency in C, Python or similar languages.
- Strong background in theoretical physics and mathematical physics.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in nanofabrication and experimental design.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and meet strict timelines.
