About This Role

The NTU School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is seeking a Senior Research Fellow in Computational Electromagnetism to lead ab initio theory and EUV generation software, requiring PhD backgrounds in physics/math/engineering with strong C/Python skills.

Responsibilities

  • Computationally solve electrodynamics problems in the EUV regime.
  • Develop efficient software for modeling electromagnetic phenomena using C/Python.
  • Formulate new theories derived from Maxwell's equations and QED for EUV generation.
  • Lead papers in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in writing grants and supervise students.
  • Provide logistical support for laboratory operations.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
  • Strong background in electrodynamics simulations techniques.
  • Proficiency in C, Python or similar languages.
  • Strong background in theoretical physics and mathematical physics.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in nanofabrication and experimental design.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, and meet strict timelines.
