About This Role
Seeking a Research Associate to develop hardware and software for nondestructive testing (NDT) of concrete structures, including wave propagation modeling and signal processing.
Responsibilities
- Modeling of wave propagation in cementitious materials
- Ultrasound processing and nondestructive testing
- Structural health management of in-service infrastructure systems
Requirements
- M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanics, or Electrical Engineering
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for data analysis
- Strong skills in signal processing and ultrasound wave generation
