About This Role
Seeking a Research Associate to lead sub-projects and coordinate collaboration in the Nano-Bio Interface Lab at NTU, focusing on elucidating nanoscale assembly mechanisms of biomolecules on biological membranes.
Responsibilities
- Assist research projects under the direction of Principal Investigator or senior staff.
- Lead sub-projects and coordinate collaboration works.
- Participate in writing scientific publications, review literature, and collaborate with team members.
- Supervise junior laboratory personnel and train new staff or visiting scientists.
- Assist in general lab operation including ordering supplies and maintenance.
- Comply with laboratory safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Master Degree in biological science, biomedical engineering or related disciplines.
- Research background in nanofabrication, invitro reconstitution, fluorescence microscopy imaging and related image analysis.
- Working experience in supported lipid bilayer, protein purification, liposome assay, T cell culture and characterization.
- Proficiency in python or MATLAB-based image analysis.
