About This Role

A Research Fellow position at NTU's School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology seeks a PhD graduate with microbiology or biomedical engineering background to develop rapid detection methods for bacterial infection using fluorescence, colorimetric, and Raman scattering signals in microarray, lateral flo

Responsibilities

  • Design platform for bacterial infection and antimicrobial susceptibility testing
  • Develop biosensing probes via fluorescence, colorimetric, and Raman scattering in microarray, lateral flow assays, ELISA, and microfluidics
  • Optimize detection platforms for rapid pathogenic bacteria labeling
  • Investigate and optimize assays using microarray, lateral flow assay, ELISA, and microfluidics
  • Design investigations for biosensing in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology

Requirements

  • PhD degrees in microbiology, biomedical engineering, or chemical biology
  • Lab skills for biosensors and probe synthesis
  • Graduate from a reputable university
  • Excellent teamwork awareness
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Strong responsibility for research / work
  • Research experience in probe synthesis
