Senior Research Fellow (Process Modeling)

About This Role

Seeking a Senior Research Fellow with a PhD in chemical engineering to develop process models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses for tropical megacity energy systems, and guide junior lab members.

Responsibilities

• Collection of data from literature and industry
• Provide estimations for data not available in literature
• Develop and apply process, analytical, and geospatial models to evaluate technological systems
• Conduct quantitative analysis and performance assessments using modelling tools and datasets
• Perform scenario, sensitivity, and uncertainty analyses to support research objectives
• Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations

Requirements

• PhD degree in chemical engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in process modelling
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in ASPEN-HYSYS and Geographic Information System tools
