About This Role
The NTU Research Fellow position at the Centre for Research in Child Development requires a PhD candidate with expertise in quantitative data analysis, longitudinal modelling, and classroom observation video coding to conduct secondary analyses of existing datasets for research funding proposals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning on emerging developments in education and early childhood.
- Perform exploratory longitudinal analyses of existing datasets to uncover research questions.
- Draft high-quality research funding proposals integrating literature reviews and methodology sections.
- Support the planning and onboarding of new research project teams.
Requirements
- PhD in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in quantitative data analysis and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., multilevel modelling).
- Expertise in classroom observation video coding.
- Familiarity with classroom quality frameworks or early childhood education research.
