About This Role

The NTU Research Fellow position at the Centre for Research in Child Development requires a PhD candidate with expertise in quantitative data analysis, longitudinal modelling, and classroom observation video coding to conduct secondary analyses of existing datasets for research funding proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct horizon scanning on emerging developments in education and early childhood.
  • Perform exploratory longitudinal analyses of existing datasets to uncover research questions.
  • Draft high-quality research funding proposals integrating literature reviews and methodology sections.
  • Support the planning and onboarding of new research project teams.

Requirements

  • PhD in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in quantitative data analysis and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., multilevel modelling).
  • Expertise in classroom observation video coding.
  • Familiarity with classroom quality frameworks or early childhood education research.
