About This Role
The Assistant Manager, Internship role requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in internship management or program/project coordination, plus strong communication skills and a collaborative team player. The incumbent must oversee programme operations, manage stakeholder engagement with colleges
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end management of internship programmes and work processes.
- Develop strategies to increase student participation and placement opportunities.
- Monitor internship progress proactively to identify and resolve issues before they arise.
- Provide guidance on internship matters, including supporting complex case management.
- Engage with colleges and schools to optimize internship placement strategies for career readiness.
- Collaborate internally across teams to drive operational performance and overcome challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
- Polytechnic diploma or extensive relevant work experience is also welcome.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in internship management or cooperative education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with data, systems, structured processes, and administrative frameworks.
- Demonstrated passion for supporting youth in their career journeys.
