About This Role
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is seeking a Research Fellow to synthesize low-valent main group compounds and investigate their electronic structure, focusing on boron-containing molecules using experimental and computational methods.
Responsibilities
- Research project progress
- Data collection, reporting, and manuscript writing
- Mentorship of undergraduates, PhD students, and new staff
- Laboratory management to ensure safety and efficiency
- Cooperation with university duties and tasks
Requirements
- PhD in Chemistry or related fields
- Extensive knowledge of fundamental and advanced main group chemistry
- Strong background in catalysis with experience handling air- and moisture-sensitive molecules
- Publication history in top international journals
- Strong communication skills and leadership abilities
