About This Role
Seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant/Associate to join the BatLab at LKC Medicine, focusing on translational immunology and aging research in bats.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project.
- Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting, and reporting of experimental results.
- Assist researchers in programming, data analysis, and literature review.
- Evaluate and interpret collected data to prepare oral presentations or scientific manuscripts.
- Contribute to project management, presentations, and publications of research work.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the described work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Prior working experience in immunology or aging is preferred but not compulsory for those with good academic and research track record.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and expertise in supporting various research activities.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal communications with excellent written, oral communication, and computer skills.
- Team player who is able to prioritize, multi-task, and work collaboratively in a diverse workforce.
