About This Role
Seeking a PhD candidate in biostatistics, epidemiology, or public health to lead statistical and mathematical models for healthcare-associated infections using large-scale population data.
Responsibilities
- Undertake and direct literature reviews
- Lead the analysis of large-scale population level data sets using statistical techniques
- Provide statistical and mathematical modelling advice to junior researchers
- Lead the writing reports, presentations, and publication of results in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with researchers in other national and international institutions
- Coordinate a large research team to drive multiple research projects
Requirements
- PhD in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health or related field
- At least 0-2 years of relevant post-doctoral research experience
- Proficiency or strong interest in epidemiology and infectious diseases
- Ability to communicate findings effectively, good written and oral communication skills
- Competent in working independently, eye for details, excellent organizational time management
- Proficiency in Statistical software (R)
