About This Role
The Senior Executive role requires a Diploma or equivalent professional experience in procurement, demonstrating strong time management and customer service skills to manage all purchasing activities including quotations, negotiations, and policy compliance at NTU.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to administer procurement activities and manage all purchasing processes.
- Prepare specifications, call for tenders, evaluate quotations/tenders, and negotiate best price/delivery times with suppliers.
- Coordinate cross-functional departments to ensure procurement adherence to NTU guidelines and policies.
- Process POs, manage contracts, and generate purchasing reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Handle ad-hoc jobs required by management and build positive relationships with peers and supervisors for efficiency.
- Drive policy compliance and improve internal efficiencies through strategic thinking.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma Equivalent Qualification or equivalent professional procurement experience with 1 year relevant experience.
- Demonstrate time management skills and exceptional customer service capabilities.
- Be organized, meticulous with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work well with multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Be a good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
