About This Role
Seeking a Research Fellow to lead an experimental apparatus for developing a quantum processor using neutral atom arrays at the NTU Centre for Quantum Technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop optical systems to support advanced ultracold experimental research.
- Develop and implement optical interfaces for quantum processor applications.
- Prepare and present regular progress updates to the Principal Investigator.
- Provide guidance and supervision to a small research team, supporting their development and project delivery.
Requirements
- PhD in Experimental Physics with specialization in Quantum Physics, Optics, or a closely related field.
- Proven knowledge of cold atom systems, laser systems, vacuum systems, or photonics.
- Strong capabilities in experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
- Experience supervising or mentoring students or junior researchers.
