About This Role
Seeking a Research Associate to lead adversarial robustness research for Large Vision Language Models at NTU's ROSE Lab.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research into adversarial attack and defense mechanisms for LVLMs.
- Execute deep learning experiments to benchmark model performance against adversarial vulnerabilities.
- Manage research repository codebases ensuring clean architecture and reproducibility.
- Write technical manuscripts, reports, and academic publications for funding review.
- Draft proposals for new research grants in designated domains.
- Assist in drafting proposals and guide student assistants.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Research background in Deep Learning, NLP, LLMs, LVLMs, or model benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch with familiarity in C/C++.
- Experience with LLM frameworks, agentic systems, and automated pipelines is an advantage.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English with research publications as a plus.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and guide student assistants.
