About This Role
Seeking a Research Associate in GIS & Spatial Analytics to lead geospatial modelling and validation for the NParks MCCS project on community resilience against sea-level rise.
Responsibilities
- Lead geospatial modelling and validation for the CCSP project.
- Contribute to project reports, conference presentations, and journal publications.
- Map resident and business archetypes across Singapore using GIS tools.
- Perform spatial analysis of SLR vulnerability zones overlaid with archetype distributions.
- Conduct ABM simulation outputs for geospatial validation.
- Integrate multi-source spatial data and cluster output visualisation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Geospatial Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro/QGIS and spatial statistics.
- Programming skills in Python (GeoPandas, folium) or R (sf, tmap).
- Experience with multi-source spatial data integration and clustering output visualisation.
