Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Office of Patient Engagement [LKCMedicine]

About This Role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to lead the Office of Patient Engagement, focusing on developing a national guidance document for patient and public involvement in medical research.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders involved in developing PPI
• Organise meetings, workshops, seminars and events
• Develop and implement an outreach plan for the dissemination of the PPI Guidance Document
• Manage web resource development to house the PPI Guidance Document
• Produce communication materials on the PPI Guidance Document project and assigned projects for outreach to researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals and patient partners
• Provide administrative support for the PPI Guidance Document, OPEN Circle (Lived Experience Partner Registry) and PPI in precision medicine project

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited university
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in health promotion/patient experience/communications and advocacy/outreach
• Experience in organising events and workshops, and in developing online resources (including websites)
• Experience in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) and working with patient organisations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and versatility in working with people from diverse backgrounds: from researchers and clinicians to patients advocates
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Resourceful and possess strong initiative to drive change
