About This Role
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to lead the Office of Patient Engagement, focusing on developing a national guidance document for patient and public involvement in medical research.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders involved in developing PPI
- Organise meetings, workshops, seminars and events
- Develop and implement an outreach plan for the dissemination of the PPI Guidance Document
- Manage web resource development to house the PPI Guidance Document
- Produce communication materials on the PPI Guidance Document project and assigned projects for outreach to researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals and patient partners
- Provide administrative support for the PPI Guidance Document, OPEN Circle (Lived Experience Partner Registry) and PPI in precision medicine project
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited university
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in health promotion/patient experience/communications and advocacy/outreach
- Experience in organising events and workshops, and in developing online resources (including websites)
- Experience in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) and working with patient organisations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and versatility in working with people from diverse backgrounds: from researchers and clinicians to patients advocates
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Resourceful and possess strong initiative to drive change
