About This Role
A Research Scientist position at NTU's Centre for Quantum Sensing Technology requires a PhD in physics, engineering, or materials science with relevant quantum experience to develop and characterize solid-state sensors using cold-atom sensing and photonics.
Responsibilities
- Develop experiments in consultation with the Principal Investigator (PI) supported by rigorous scientific, engineering, and literature-backed design.
- Ensure proper documentation of experiments, project meetings, discussions with collaborators, and operational integrity.
- Assist the PI in leading lab staff, students, and collaborators related to the project.
- Support the PI with events, publications, proposals, planning, monitoring, and reporting related to the lab's mission.
- Assist in training staff, students, and collaborators on relevant topics.
Requirements
- Minimally a PhD in physics, engineering, materials engineering, or equivalent.
- Relevant prior experience in quantum-related work is advantageous.
