Research Assistant (Neuropsychology)

About This Role

A Research Assistant position for the Science of Learning team at NTU requires a Bachelors degree in Psychology or Cognitive Neuroscience, strong statistical skills (SPSS/R), and experience with neuroimaging techniques like fMRI and DTI.

Responsibilities

• Participant recruitment
• Data collection using cognitive testing and neuroimaging techniques
• Perform data analyses and manage pipelines under PI supervision
• Perform research-related administrative work including equipment procurement
• Liaise with external institutions and stakeholders
• Conduct literature reviews and prepare policy reports

Requirements

• Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field
• Excellent communication and written skills for literature reviews and reports
• Self-motivator capable of working independently to collect, analyse, and communicate findings
• Proficient in statistical analysis (SPSS or R), programming language (e.g., Python, Matlab)
• Experience with neuroimaging software
• Willing to travel to testing sites for data collection
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within tight deadlines
