About This Role

Seeking a PhD in Mathematics or related field with tertiary-level teaching experience to lead educational research and development projects at NTU's School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, focusing on higher mathematics education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an educational research and development project in higher mathematics education at SPMS, NTU with collaborations from NIE.
• Sustain educational research and development efforts in SPMS, NTU through formulating grant proposals.
• Communicate and share project outcomes internally and externally.
• Collaborate with NIE to plan and implement educational research efforts in higher mathematics education.
• Approach complex problems with creativity and precision, focusing on mathematical education research.
• Work independently under strict timelines to develop solutions.

Requirements

• PhD qualification degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Familiarity with the educational landscape of Singapore, preferably having taught or tutored students at the tertiary level.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to approach complex problems with creativity and precision.
• Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines.
