Project Officer (Natural Sciences and Science Education Department) [NIE]

About This Role

A part-time Project Officer contract at the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore, requiring a degree in education or related field with strong project coordination skills and experience in educational research or AI-assisted learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Principal Investigator, including project timeline coordination.
• Design, test, and refine AI Assessment Evaluator tools for pedagogical use with focus on prompt design.
• Systematically document and synthesize guidelines for AI-supported assessment literacy tools across subject areas.
• Oversee project data management, including anonymisation and secure storage of student artefacts and reflections.
• Coordinate the collection and analysis of evaluation data to support formative C3R learning model improvement.
• Contribute to project deliverables, including the AI Assessment Evaluator documentation and final evaluation report.

Requirements

• A University degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary research team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare documentation clearly.
