About This Role
A Part-Time Research Assistant role at NTU's EQUA project to build AI-powered immersive media art using ComfyUI, RunwayML, and TouchDesigner.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable generative AI pipelines using ComfyUI, RunwayML, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and multi-modal AI ecosystems.
- Build and operate real-time generative media environments in TouchDesigner for large-scale immersive installations.
- Own end-to-end studio production sessions from prototyping through exhibition-ready output and assist with grant documentation.
- Create and edit digital content for the project's online presence, exhibition submissions, and audience data collection.
- Support studio production sessions, curatorial documentation, and assist with milestone reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Media Art, Digital Arts, Interactive Media, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in ComfyUI and TouchDesigner with hands-on experience with real-time generative media systems.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-modal generative AI tools (Stable Diffusion, RunwayML, Midjourney) applied in production workflows.
- Ability to work independently as a hands-on builder with strong interest in AI, immersive media art, and science communication.
- Portfolio of generative or AI-driven creative works required.
