Research Assistant (Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electronics Engineering)

About This Role

Seeking a Research Assistant to conduct vector search research, design experimental frameworks for benchmarking performance across hardware and software platforms, and prepare technical reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on vector search including storage, indexing, and system building.
• Design and implement experimental frameworks for benchmarking pipelines to evaluate performance across hardware and software platforms.
• Collaborate with project team members to prepare technical reports, documentation, datasets, and research artifacts.
• Support the preparation of research publications, codes, and grant-related deliverables.
• Participate in regular team meetings to contribute to problem-solving, design, and implementation of new research ideas.
• Oversee project progress and report on ongoing work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
• Independent and highly analytical personality with a strong team player mindset.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills for technical reports and documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of algorithms, systems, data structures, machine learning, and vector search.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research and design new experimental methods.
• Ability to initiate collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
