Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on flexible seawall design and construction.
  • Perform laboratory experiments to test the performance of flexible seawalls in flume tests.
  • Conduct numerical studies using FEM software to analyze and optimize coastal protection system design.
  • Write project progress reports and assist in daily project operation management.
  • Publish high-quality peer-reviewed journal papers to promote international reputation.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in civil engineering, coastal engineering, or ocean engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in coastal structure foundation design and hydrodynamics analysis.
  • Strong background in hydrodynamics analysis.
  • Expertise in laboratory coastal structure testing.
  • Proficiency in FEM software (Ansys, Abaqus, Plaxis, Comsol).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent English proficiency for data analysis.
