About This Role

Seeking a Research Associate to lead statistical and mathematical models for understanding healthcare-associated infections, including infectious disease transmissibility and long-term burden across spatial scales.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical and mathematical models to understand healthcare-associated infections.
• Undertake literature reviews and lead on analyzing data using statistical techniques.
• Generate research questions to drive collaborative projects with other institutions.
• Collaborate with researchers in national and international institutions to advance the field.
• Write reports, presentations, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with researchers to understand the medium-to-long-term burden of infectious diseases across spatial scales.

Requirements

• Masters or equivalent in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, biostatistics, computer science), preferably with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency or strong interest in epidemiology, infectious diseases, and health data science.
• Ability to communicate findings effectively through written and oral presentation.
