Research Assistant (Quantum Computing Engineer)

About This Role

Seeking a Research Assistant in Quantum Computing Engineering at NTU to propose quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry, with a focus on Helios and Heron hardware execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantum compilation to optimize for successful execution on quantum hardware.
• Support research by performing auxiliary data processing tasks.
• Analyze prospects of new research directions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, or computer science.
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience in quantum computing (e.g., final year project).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Nielsen and Chuang's textbook on quantum computing.
• Ability to work independently, meet strict timelines, and be meticulous with eye for details.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
