Seeking a Research Assistant to propose engineering solutions for NV center readout and dynamic quantum algorithms in material science fabrication pipelines at NTU Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Propose feasibility and cost analysis of a table top NV center readout setup using lasers and microwave resonators.
• Propose readout solutions for quantum sensor use in material science fabrication pipelines.
• Translate dynamic quantum algorithms like double-bracket cooling into actionable protocols for NV center ensembles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, or computer science.
• Knowledge of engineering (laser, mechanical, electrical), proficiency in Ansys and related packages.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet strict timelines, and be meticulous with eye for details.
