About This Role

The NIE is seeking a Senior Learning Strategist to lead blended learning initiatives, design evidence-based workshops for faculty and IN-Learning specialists, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the National Institute of Education.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow Learning Strategists to research adult learning theories and design tech-enhanced workshops for faculty.
  • Identify learning needs for courses, propose frameworks and new learning outcomes to support course redesigning.
  • Assess faculty capability development needs through data analysis to inform blended learning experience design.
  • Research, develop and present innovative design solutions with project teams to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to special projects on teaching and learning, including conducting action research with data analysis.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team by providing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • A University degree in Instructional Design, Education or Learning Sciences with a master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in instructional design, teaching or adult learning within a higher educational setting.
  • Proven ability to manage successful learning projects and mentorship roles.
  • Experience in facilitating face-to-face or online sessions for diverse audiences.
  • Expert knowledge of Adult Learning theories in blended learning design.
  • Strong research skills and demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new tools.
