Researcher Fellow - 2 (Social Cohesion Research Programme) [RSIS]

About This Role

A Researcher Fellow for the Social Cohesion Research Programme at NTU requires a PhD/Master/Degree holder with expertise in social sciences, data analytics, and multivariate statistics to assist the program with research on multiculturalism, religion, and ethnicity in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on social cohesion, religiosity, ethnicity, and nationalism.
• Carry out multivariate analyses on cross-national data to assess social cohesion patterns.
• Support strategic events and meetings, manage relevant databases, and provide key insights for decision-making.
• Assist in the Social Cohesion Research Programme with research and administrative duties.

Requirements

• PhD/Master/Degree in social sciences or data analytics.
• Appreciation of cultural dynamics in Singapore and the region.
• Comfortable with report writing and statistical analyses.
• Basic understanding of multivariate statistics including multiple regressions, factor analysis, and Excel charts.
• Published articles or writing samples (2 required).
• 3 reference letters.
