About This Role

Amazon Web Services Data Center Services Procurement Specialist recruitment seeks a highly analytical, collaborative, and entrepreneurial individual to manage the full supplier lifecycle for Japanese data center construction projects, including onboarding, tender management, and contract execution.

Responsibilities

• Independently deliver on cross-functional projects and goals
• Manage assigned supplier onboarding, qualification processes, and vendor performance dashboards for construction categories
• Manage assigned tender events and related contract generation to support the Procurement Category Manager
• Monitor post-contract metrics, audit processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Identify dashboard requirements for metrics reporting and develop training documentation
• Monitor and manage purchase requisition processes using information from business owners and suppliers

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools (Oracle, Coupa, Ariba)
• Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects to completion
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to embrace Amazon's Leadership Principles
• High level of focus, urgency, and curiosity in a fast-paced environment
