About This Role

Amazon seeks an experienced Corporate Counsel in Singapore to advise AWS on environmental compliance and sustainable design for global physical infrastructure across Asia Pacific. This role involves strategic counsel, policy development, and regulatory management.

Responsibilities

• Strategize regional environmental compliance efforts for AWS infrastructure.
• Provide tactical advice on environmental, regulatory, and infrastructure development matters.
• Monitor and advise the business on upcoming environmental regulatory changes.
• Develop and improve compliance policies and programs.
• Negotiate commercial transactions with environmental vendors.
• Handle legal disputes and inquiries from regulators.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ethical considerations surrounding AI in law (confidentiality, accuracy, bias).
• Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent.
