Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing plans for APAC data center capex categories including construction, energy, and water infrastructure.
  • Proactively engage with internal customers to coordinate sourcing activities efficiently and expeditiously.
  • Leverage market intelligence to identify viable suppliers for existing and new APAC regions, providing actionable insights.
  • Lead supplier onboarding activities including negotiation of master contract terms to ensure compliance with Amazon's requirements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that positively impact customers, stakeholders, and the team.
  • Monitor supplier performance against defined metrics to maintain sustainable markets for upcoming projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience including vendor negotiations, global contract management, and process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in procurement performing vendor management and contract negotiation for complex purchases.
  • Experience using market intelligence to aid sourcing activities, draw insights, and communicate them to internal customers.
  • Strong process improvement background with emphasis on internal and external performance mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging market intelligence to develop sourcing plans for significant benefits to customers.
  • Demonstrated success in a metrics-oriented environment and the ability to create, track, and report on key performance indicators.
