About This Role

As Director, Data Analytics Specialist Sales at Google Cloud APAC, you will lead a high-performing team of data analytics and specialty sales leaders to transform customer business with Google Cloud solutions, manage cross-functional growth strategies, and build influential relationships in a hyper-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale a regional team of data analytics, specialty sales leaders.
• Lead across broader Google Cloud teams to drive demand and provide guidance to marketing partners for campaigns.
• Develop strategies to accelerate the business cycle in a fast-paced environment.
• Build and maintain relationships internally and externally to influence long-term strategic direction.
• Act as an advisor to customers, recruit talent, and coach the team with actionable feedback.
• Create and drive innovative programs focused on achieving Google-scale growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS sales roles across geographies.
• 15 years of experience leading sales teams and working with cross-functional organizations internally and externally.
• 10 years of experience selling data analytics or data platform products to enterprises, digital natives, or public sectors.
• Experience building teams, processes, and sales motions from the ground up in hyper growth environments.
• Understanding of how various cloud technologies work together to drive deeper technology adoption within the existing large account base.
• Understanding of data and data analytics technologies, the global cloud computing market, and key drivers for growth in the target industry segment.
