Senior Software Engineer, Information Security Engineering

About This Role

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Information Security Engineering to lead technical roadmaps, collaborate on AI agent development and security consulting, and build backend systems using Go and Python.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical roadmaps and provide guidance for high-level strategic planning
• Collaborate closely with information security engineers to develop new tools for product security consulting and response
• Design and implement Go, Backend systems, and Python AI agents
• Build new features and integrations on top of internal systems utilizing state-of-the-art technologies
• Advise others on complex processes and workflows related to product security consulting and response

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• Experience programming in Go
