About This Role

A public service Lecturer in the School of Mathematical Sciences & Analytics at Singapore Polytechnic seeks a qualified academic with expertise in Data Science, AI, and Mathematics to deliver curriculum, mentor students, and support adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons and mentoring of students
• Conduct training for adult learners and support continuing education initiatives
• Develop curriculum and learning materials for specified modules
• Deploy effective pedagogy to facilitate learning
• Contribute to consultancy and applied industry/research projects

Requirements

• Tertiary education in the field of Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
• Passionate about education and possess good values
• Strong foundation in applied data analytics with experience in cloud computing or software engineering
• Familiarity with end-to-end solutioning such as digitalisation, automation, AI-enabled workflows
• Exposure to emerging areas such as agentic AI and physical AI, as well as computer vision
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
