About This Role

A Lecturer in Architecture at Singapore Polytechnic requires a passionate, experienced professional with 2-8 years of experience in Computational Design and AI applications to teach students on the Construction Industry Transformation Map, including Architecture History and Theory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lessons for PET and CET students, focusing on Computational Design, AI applications, and Architecture History.
  • Maintain up-to-date teaching curricula by reviewing existing materials to enhance student performance and employability.
  • Lead students in competitions, internships, overseas learning programs, and community service.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to offer consultancy projects and support SkillsFuture initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in Architecture, preferably with Computational Design and AI applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Architectural History from the 1900s onwards and construction methods.
  • Passion for teaching, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring adult learners.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
